Coffman Clark Construction, Inc. is a Martin County based certified General Contractor and State Licensed Underground Utilities Contractor formed in September of 1985 by Sonny Coffman and Carl Clark specializing in water, sewer, lift stations and storm drainage. Coffman Clark also is a Category V Fire Main contractor.

Mr. Sonny Coffman began working in the construction industry at the age of sixteen with his father, Earl Coffman, who owned an underground business. Sonny started literally from the ground up and has performed every job in the industry from errand boy to CEO. Sonny obtained his underground license in 1985 and maintains a clean record. We are proud that he has assisted the State of Florida in writing the state underground utility contractor’s tests on several occasions.

Mr. Clark began his career in the underground industry after returning home from his tour of duty in the Air Force serving in Vietnam. We are proud and thankful to have him as a part of our company. His dedication to our business day in and day out has proven to be a vital part of our ongoing success. Mr. Clark manages the field operations with an intense knowledge of the industry and underground conditions throughout South Florida. Mr. Clark also has “from the ground up” experience and has dedicated his life to the underground industry.

Mr. Carl Clark began his career in the underground industry after returning home from his tour of duty in the Air Force serving in Vietnam. Mrs. Linda Coffman married into this industry in 1975 and has been a part of Coffman Clark since day one. With a background in accounting, her contribution is internal office management, managing bids, assisting in project management, working with customers and suppliers.

Mr. James Earl Coffman has worked full time for Coffman Clark since January, 2010. While working part time prior to 2010, he obtained his degree in construction management. Jim is now the General Contractor qualifier for Coffman Clark. Coffman Clark is proud to have him as part of the team.
